Learn about Hope For Prisoners unparalleled program of transforming individuals from wards of the state to thriving community members through mentors and vocational training.

• ·         This is a subsidized program providing temporary assistance with salary, benefits, and insurance.

• The program offers cost savings and hire-ready individuals equipped with basic level training.
• Federally it is a tax write off for business and the government will cover a bond for the person hired from the program.
• Locally if hired as a work experience employee Hope covers 100% of the salary for what averages to be 6-9 weeks, if hired for on-the-job training Hope covers 50% of the salary for what averages to be 6-9 weeks. (The 6-9 weeks is the probationary period of beginning employment and goes by hour).
• These men and women being integrated back into society will have 18 months of training which teach them all the basics and training certifications before being hired. 
• The Hope program continues for another 18 months after employment with additional education and a case worker to be the liaison between employee and employer.
• The State has invested in assisting these non-traditional workers.
• These are hungry, second chance citizens on track to become positive members of society through career integration.
